This introductory course takes you inside the world of cybersecurity. You will learn cyber security basics to protect your personal digital life and gain insights into the biggest security challenges companies, governments, and educational institutions face today. Cyber security professionals who can protect and defend an organization's network are in high demand.
General Objectives:
The course material will assist you in developing learner skills, including:
Explain the basics of being safe online, including what cyber security is and its potential impact.
Explain the most common cyber threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities.
Explain how to protect yourself while online.
Explain how organizations can protect their operations against these attacks
Access a variety of information and resources to explore the different career options in cyber security.
Benefits:
Learners who complete the course will be able to take the CISCO introduction to Cyber Security Exam, free of cost. Learners will also benefit from having new digital credentials.
